About the event
The spring equinox is a day of balance, as we welcome the light lengthening and the seasons changing.
Spring is associated with the element of air - of breath - of gaining perspective. It is also a time to celebrate the winged ones.
Ceremonial circles help us connect to the changes in the earth, and to align our own spirit with everything around us. The equinox arrives at 10:45 AM - so we will celebrate the first full day of spring!
The ceremony includes creating a sacred space and bring ourselves fully into the space, honoring the four directions, a time of personal meditation, gentle chants, and setting our intention for the season.
A time of fellowship and shared food will follow the ritual.
